Still More Bottom-Button Banter

As you may recall, Tuesday’s post was about how some men’s shirt brands use contrast-colored thread for securing the bottom button and/or lining the bottom buttonhole. That prompted a comment from reader Christopher Cameron, who said that a clothing brand called Taylor Stitch, which I hadn’t heard of before, takes things a step further by using a different color for the bottom button itself.

As I quickly discovered on Taylor Stitch’s website, the bottom button on some of their shirts (but not all of them) is a dark navy blue, even when the rest of the buttons are white. Here are some examples:
