I've said it before, it sometimes feels voyeuristic to know so much and care about your personal life, someone I probably will never formally meet. It's conflicting to me. But this is a new world, (well, 25 years or so) and the internet connects people and that's not a bad thing at all.
I truly love this yearly post. I don't have your birthday memorized but I do know it almost always rains on your birthday. It's like Groundhogs Day, it doesn't really affect me but my curious mind gets some dopamine when I hear the weather report.

Happy Birthday Paul! I had a streak of snow either on the ground or falling on my birthday in December for many years but that streak has now recently turned to no snow. Not sure if that’s lucky or not.
Great story Paul and Happy Birthday! It reminds me of my mom telling me when I was a kid that it always rained on Good Friday because God was crying. I’m curious, the 35 year streak obviously included pre-internet years when it wasn’t as easy to research and see if it rained even for a portion of an hour on a given day. Did you witness each instance of precipitation or were there times you went to the library and pulled meteorological records to see if it rained at times you weren’t aware during your birthday (e.g., while sleeping)?
