Loving Inconspicuous Consumption. I was concerned when you announced you were leaving uniforms behind because my interests often gravitate to sports and I was unsure that would translate to Brannock Devices and such. I’m understanding now that it’s your way of seeing the world that always brought me back to UniWatch, not just the discussion of sports attire.

This entire saga has been at least 40% more enjoyable simply because BOMP is such a delightful word.

I, for one, will keep the paid subscription going. I am enjoying the IC work.

To me, the 'finished' product looks surprising amateurish, so there's still a quaintness about it. I would have thought that a stencil would have been used so they could simply spray over.

Something I hadn’t considered until today, the current BUMP seems to be the result of three separate actions. The cracking paint on the unaltered part of the street leads me to believe it was originally this way prior to the patch. After cutting across the words for the repair, the BOMP may have been created when the second letter was closed in. Finally, the vowel has been corrected.

Very interesting that at no point was it decided to stencil the word in.

Who took the Bomp from the Bompalompalomp?

Who took the Ram from the Ramalamadingdong?

I picked up a copy of Inconspicuous Consumption (the book) several years ago but never got around to reading it. This new project keeps nudging me towards finally digging into the book. I'll have to do that soon!
